Full Time Medical Records Clerk/Mental Health Clerk
to maintain health records and provide clerical support to our medical team at
Avon Park
Correctional Institution
located in
Avon Park, Florida.

Available Shift:

Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30p (Half Time as Medical Records Clerk; Half Time as Mental Health Clerk)

  • Initiate and maintain offender health records;
  • Respond to requests for health records;
  • Perform clerical duties.
  • Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure maintenance and accountability for offender health records to support continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of medical office experience preferred
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred
  • Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
  • Computer/Data Entry experience


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
