Milk Hauler (CDL, Class A)

Loading, Sampling, and transportation of bulk milk.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer combination driving.
1. Report for duty as scheduled.
2. Maintain current State Milk Hauler Certification.
3. Maintain current DOT medical certification.
4. Maintain valid class A CDL & acceptable MVR.
5. Perform daily vehicle inspections as per SMI policy.
6. Monitor available hours as per 49 CFR 395.
7. Conduct farm pickup / sampling procedures per SMI / State requirements.
8. Follow posted producer farm procedures per SMI policy.
9. Secure all loads by following SMI & State requirements.
10. Operate all equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Job Requirements:
1. Driver must meet Department of Transportation physical qualifications of 49 CFR 391.41.
2. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers, use tools and controls, and reach with hands and arms.
3. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; and enter / exit a commercial vehicle.
4. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
5. The employee must regularly lift, move, push, pull or drag up to 50 lbs.
6. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
7. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
8. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
