Assures that users have proper permits and vehicle passes to use recreational areas and reports irregularities to Law Enforcement.
Posts information concerning the recreational status of the installation, and changes information supplied to the users at three check stations to keep information current.
Collects and records biological data from harvested game animals and makes measurements and takes samples from game animals.
Assists staff and volunteers to clean and maintain campgrounds, permits sales office, parking areas, and parking areas as assigned.
Cleans and fuels vehicles as necessary.

SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have 6 months of general experience AND 3 months of specialized experience.
General experience includes knowledge in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work that provided a familiarity with natural or cultural history; fish or wildlife habitat characteristics; techniques of resource protection and use; recreational use of public lands and facilities; enforcement of laws, rules, or regulations; fire prevention techniques and fire suppression methods; or the practice of interpersonal relations skills in dealing with the general public.
Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical, or trades and crafts work is also qualifying.
Experience of a routine nature, such as typing, filing, maintaining records, or other nonspecialized tasks is not qualifying.
Specialized experience includes knowledge of the functions of the outdoor recreation office to maintain files/records, receive telephone calls, and brief recreationists.
Ability to follow instructions, comprehend, and apply written procedures for assigned tasks, such as cash management, outdoor recreation permit sales, biological data collection and management, and posting recreational use information.

Course work in fields other than those specified may be accepted if it clearly provides applicants with the background of knowledge and skills necessary for successful job performance in the position to be filled.
OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position if the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100 percent.
