Assesses clients referred for substance abuse and mental health evaluations and makes appropriate treatment recommendations regarding same.
2.
Performs case management functions such as maintaining case records and coordinating additional services as necessary.
3.
Acts as a group leader/facilitator during group counseling sessions.
4.
Provides individual counseling to program clients.
5.
Provides family counseling to program clients.
6.
Provides supervision and coordination of the work of other staff members as delegated by the Clinical Supervisor/Program Supervisor.
7.
Acts as a resource for other staff members with regard to appropriate treatment modalities, methods, and techniques to be utilized with program clients.
8.
As directed, represents the Agency in matters of petition for involuntary treatment and consults with other professionals regarding addictions and mental health treatment and intervention.
9.
It is understood that the employee will also perform other reasonable and related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor or administrative personnel.
Minimum Training and Experience Requires a Master's Degree in field related to Human Services, which include but not limited to:
Social Work; Clinical Psychology; Counseling; Rehabilitative Counseling; Counseling Education; Education; Criminal Justice; or Ministry from an accredited college or university and at least one (1) year full-time experience in a mental health and/or addictions treatment setting or, a Bachelor's Degree in field related to Human Services, which include but not limited to:
Social Work; Clinical Psychology; Counseling; Rehabilitative Counseling; Counseling Education; Education; Criminal Justice; or Ministry and certification as an Addictions Professional (CAP) by the Certification Board for Addiction Professionals of Florida.
Individuals with a Bachelor's Degree in field related to Human Services and at least five (5) years of full-time experience in an addictions and/or mental health treatment setting may be considered for this position.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
